PARA LER EM PORTUGUÊS, CLIQUE AQUI.
This month DB challenged us to make Meringue filled coffe cake. They suggested us two cake/ filling flavours and I chose the garam masala, cashew nuts, chocolate meringue one.
You can't say that has garam massala in the filling, it just get a little spicy.
This recipe asks saffron in the dough, the collor is gourgeous! And the flavour combo is delighful! The cake is perfect to eat with a cup of coffe.
Great challenge!
The recipe you got here.

Beautiful color and wonderful filling.. great work on the challenge.
I love the yellow color - so shiny :) Your filling sounds amazing (I love cashews, in fact I'm a nut lover :D). I've never tried using garam masala before, so maybe next time :)
Amazing dessert! May I please have a slice? :), Miriam@Meatless Meals For Meat Eaters
